LILACEAE, Lily Family.
Habitat: Grassland; Trails: Yung Hill, American Camp, Mount Finlayson, Jakle’s Lagoon; Bloom: April-May; Description: Pale- to deep-blue flowers arranged in a loose, many-flowered raceme at the end of 30-90 cm stem. The leaves are basal and have a grass-like appearance. Star-shaped flowers have 6 petals and are usually bilaterally symmetrical.
